COVID-19 Resources: How We Can Assist You from Your Home

The COVID-19 pandemic has incurred far-reaching consequences in every sector of our lives: public health, social interactions, legal processes, and the economy. While businesses, organizations, and even government agencies have suspended operations, the Hensel Law Office, PLLC is here to help you overcome the challenges of this global crisis.

Without leaving the safety of your home, you can benefit from our dedicated services. We are now offering remote consultations via phone and video chat to continue supporting our clients without compromising their health.

Furthermore, we can conduct many legal processes virtually. For example, our Court currently allows for the signing of documents electronically. Additionally, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our Court has adopted temporary protocols involving telephonic hearings – meaning you may not even have to leave your home in order to ‘appear’ at your hearing.

No matter the unique circumstances of your case, Hensel Law Office, PLLC can provide most (if not all) the services you need without having to meet you in person.

To learn more about how we can assist you during this crisis, call (888) 258-0651 or contact us online today.

Emergency Legislation for Financial Relief

Congress passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act to help Americans survive the financial ramifications of the pandemic.

The act includes support for:

  • Individuals (stimulus checks, enhanced unemployment, and loans)
  • Small businesses and corporations (loans and grants)
  • Public health organizations and facilities
  • Local and state governments

It also contains several provisions that temporarily adjust bankruptcy, making bankruptcy more accessible to both individuals and businesses until March 27, 2021.

If you need help interpreting the CARES Act or determining whether you are eligible for relief, please do not hesitate to contact our firm. We can provide information about local, state, and federal relief, and we are fully prepared to help you file bankruptcy if your financial burdens become unmanageable.
